Pyrénées

The Pyrénées, or Pyrenees, is a mountain range located along the border between France and Spain. It extends approximately 491 kilometers (305 miles) from the Atlantic Ocean in the west to the Mediterranean Sea in the east. The range acts as a natural barrier between the two countries and is characterized by its rugged peaks, deep valleys, and diverse ecosystems. The highest peak in the Pyrénées is Aneto, which reaches an elevation of 3,404 meters (11,168 feet).

The region is known for its stunning landscapes, outdoor recreational opportunities, and rich biodiversity.
