Politics

Politics refers to the activities, actions, and policies used to gain and hold power in a government or to influence the decisions made by individuals or groups in positions of authority. It involves the processes through which groups of people make collective decisions and the ways in which power and resources are distributed within a society. Politics encompasses various systems of governance, such as democracy, authoritarianism, and totalitarianism, and involves the interplay of laws, institutions, and political behavior. Political activities include campaigning, voting, legislation, and public discourse. The term can also extend to informal power structures and relationships outside of formal government, such as in organizations, communities, and personal relationships.
