Nogomet is the term used in various Slavic languages, including Croatian and Serbian, to refer to football (soccer). It is a team sport played between two teams of eleven players each, where the primary objective is to score goals by getting a ball into the opposing team’s net. The game is governed by a set of rules known as the Laws of the Game, and it is played on a rectangular field with a goal at each end.
